Drawings
I have been keeping a visual diary since 1999, a daily discipline
of drawing, painting and writing about daily life. Three to four
books are completed every year, in an A4 format. They are primarily
intended as a record for my children, and their children. Started
at the turn of the century, I hope they will be regarded as a fascinating
document to keep and refer back to in generations to come.
The image Diary Pages is an illustration in the style of the diaries,
portrayed as torn out pages (not the actual pages).
In addition to the diaries I have been grouping objects together,
according to shape or colour. Most are objects from around the
house, but also include items collected for me by curious friends
when they've discovered what the current theme is.They are drawn
and painted at approximately the same size as the real thing.
