During my Chester Zoo residency I was able to take bags of feathers from the Parrot House back to my studio, where I could work directly from them.

Some I enlarged and interpreted faithfully, Amazon, White-Tailed Black Cockatoo and the Blue-Eyed White Cockatoo. With others I chose to create a fantasy arrangement of sizes and colours, grouping them in a formation to suggest movement.
